Detailed description is Custom, handcrafted guitars and basses made in the USA. I first started becoming interested in what makes guitars tick way back when I got my very first electric for Christmas in 1999. Right out of the box, there was a problem with the wiring! My brother helped me fix it, and that started me down a path that brought me here.. . I began modifying and working on my own instruments as a teenager. Building them from parts, taking them apart and painting them, experimenting with fingerboard scalloping... Anything I could do to my guitars to make them mine, make them unique, I would try.. . After contacting custom luthiers across the country to inquire about having my very own guitar built from scratch, completely custom tailored to my exact specifications, and realizing that some of these builders are very expensive, I decided to see what it would take to build them on my own. . . My father was always an amateur carpenter and woodworker. Some of my earliest memories are helping him with projects in our garage. I was no stranger to working with wood or the machines used to craft it into works of art. I've always been comfortable around these tools.. . I started building guitars in 2010 while attending the Guitar Craft Academy in Hollywood, California. I built two instruments completely from scratch, and immediately fell in love with the prospect of making a career out of building and repairing stringed instruments. I graduated at the top of my class in the spring of 2011, taking with me my two guitars and the beginnings of two more.. . It took me a few years, but I saved and scrounged up the money to get the first of my woodworking machines. My garage is always growing and expanding with bigger and better tools to help me bring a fine-crafted product to my customers that's made with precision from start to finish. To date, I've invested over $10,000 in my business, honing my skills in the process.. .
