Detailed description is Student Volunteer Organization that focuses on community service in the Boulder area, as well as professional development such as leadership skills. This organization is a completely student run club that reaches out to the Colorado community through community service projects as well as professional development of its members. . . We have weekly meetings on Tuesday nights at 6:15 in KOBL 308. At each meeting we discuss upcoming service projects that members have chosen to do and anyone can and are encouraged to join in on.. . We also have professional development opportunities at each meeting such as resume workshops, first impressions, team building, and many more. Anyone, both civilian and ROTC cadets, can join this club and be part of an amazing organization.. . Each year there are 2 opportunities to travel outside of Colorado to the Regional Conference as well as the National Conference.The regional conference was in Colorado Springs, CO and the national convention will be in Dallas, TX.. .
