Detailed description is SJICR Multicultural Programming is dedicated to creating culturally competent students. In its mission the Office of Social Justice, Inclusion and Conflict Resolution exists to promote an inclusive university community where individuals are empowered to grow in their understanding of identity and social justice, and the skills needed to lead a more just society. This new office has been tasked with providing activities, services and initiatives geared at student mentorship; supporting multicultural, women, and LGBTQA+ programs; as well as providing a space for students’ spiritual exploration. The SJICR Multicultural progamming supports and initiates events that foster the acknowledgement and acceptance of the differences that define the personal self-identity of faculty, staff, and students.
