Detailed description is The Skyllkill Chapter serves the Mid-Hudson Valley area as part of The Embroiderers' Guild of America, Inc., an educational/non-profit organization. Skyllkill Chapter is one of 18 chapters in the Metropolitan Region (http://metroega.org) which serves NY, NJ, CT and PA) of the EGA, Inc. Between local, regional and national offerings to learn and appreciate all manner of needlework techniques, members have great opportunities to enjoy and grow. Monthly meetings include special interest classes, social-stitch time, and a program presentation. The chapter maintains an extensive reference library available to all members. Skyllkill also engages in substantial community involvement & outreach.
