Detailed description is This informal yet inspirational summer workshop will tackle many of the challenges that face school orchestra directors on a regular basis. Super-star guest clinicians will address conducting at all levels, aspects of recruiting, playing and teaching string bass and viola, the methods of the late Paul Rolland plus opportunities to share teaching practices and favorite orchestra charts. Clinicians will include Dr. Mark Laycock, Wichita State Univ; Jack Unzicker, Dallas Chamber, Plano Symphony and UT Arlington; April Kondrat, Vines HS, Plano ISD; Mary Alice Rich, Composer and teacher; Brian Coatney, Plano Sr. HS, Plano ISD; and others!
