Clinton Collier is a champion dancesport competitor, having won his way through all levels from pre-bronze to championship. Clinton won many titles and in 2013 placed 3rd at the Canadian National Dancesport Championships, at championship level. He is an IDTA certified dance teacher, faculty of ballroom and latin (Distinguished).. . Clinton has taught aboard the Queen Mary 2 and for organizations such as Gerogia Tech Swing Club, USA Dance, www.stardustdance.com and www.dancersatsea.com. . . Mindi Sheer is a performer, teacher, competitive latin dancer and a recent transplant to Atlanta from Seattle. Her focus is musicality, expression, sensuality and grace within the latin dances and her philosophy is to help those passionate about dance develop their personal style and to feel empowered by dance. She has been dancing for 17 years, competing and performing for much of this, and has won or had top placements in many West coast competitions with her competitive partners, including the Snowball Classic and the Grand Ball (British Columbia), Seattle Star Ball, and others. She has trained extensively in Latin ballroom, American rhythm and smooth, musical dance theater, salsa (on 1 & on 2), swing, and afro-Cuban and Brazilian dance styles, further honed through dance study in Latin America. This diverse background has given her a deep appreciation and respect for the afro-cuban roots of latin dances, and the importance of body isolations and authentic movement to latin polyrhythms. She has performed and choreographed routines in full-length dance-theater productions, dinner shows, an opera, and danced with various ballroom and salsa performance groups, including USA Dance Seattle’s performance team. .
