As a relatively new team we are making a reputation for ourselves both on and off the water as a great team and strong competitor against other collegiate clubs and scholarship rowing programs (Baylor, UT, A&M Galveston, Rice, Oklahoma City Univ., OKC, LSU, Vanderbilt, SMU, KU, KSU, Wichita State, Nebraska, Iowa and more). We have proudly beaten many of these teams and hope to have continued success in the near and distant future. There are lots of opportunities for novice rowers to compete, medal, and help make our team stronger. . . We practice at the Austin Rowing Club on Town Lake in Austin. We have a dedicated and talented bunch of team members. Even though the workouts are vigorous and before the sun even rises, the passion that we have for our sport can always be felt. . . We're are always looking for recruits to add to our ever growing team.
