The Fishmart is situated overlooking the harbour; just 2 minutes walk from the ferry terminal and only metres from the Stronsay Hotel and one of the local shops. Once the fish market, it was converted into a cafe and hostel in 1995. During the past year, the building has been completely renovated. The common area of the hostel includes a lovely open-plan kitchen (with fridge, cooker, microwave, etc.), dining and living area. The hostel includes four ensuite bedrooms and can sleep 8. A family room is available with cot. Rates for the hostel are £20 pppn, 16 and under £15. Discounts are available for stays beyond 2 nights.. .
