Detailed description is The Glenn Beck Program, Pat and Stu, The Wonderful World of Stu @WorldOfStu.A former furniture delivery boy, who held a couple dozen temp jobs before finding success on radio, Stu Burguiere is the executive producer and head writer of The Glenn Beck Radio Program, host of The Wonderful World of Stu and co-host of Pat & Stu. The Glenn Beck Radio Program airs weekdays from 9AM to 12PM EST, The Wonderful World of Stu airs Saturdays from 10PM to 10:30PM and Pat & Stu airs weekdays from 12PM to 2PM EST on TheBlaze TV.. . Burguiere found himself interested in radio from an early age, and after graduating high school, he took on several odd jobs before finding a part-time job in the promotions department at Connecticut’s KC-101. Burguiere accompanied Glenn Beck, who was host of the KC-101 morning show at the time, to an appearance at a local car dealership. By the end of the day, Beck offered him an internship, and Burguiere proceeded to work overnight on Christmas Eve to learn the switchboard.. . The internship proved to be the beginning of an accomplished radio career for Burguiere, which had him moving eight times in 15 years. When Beck moved to 970-WFLA in Tampa, Florida to start The Glenn Beck Program in 2000, Burguiere took over his job as host of the KC-101 morning show but eventually tired of playing top-40s.. . Burguiere joined Beck in Tampa as executive producer of The Glenn Beck Program, and, within a year, they took their afternoon timeslot from eighteenth to number one. Beck signed a syndication deal with Premiere Radio Networks to launch the show nationwide on 47 stations in August 2001. The deal was to start in January 2002, but following the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, the national debut was moved up.. . The show moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2003 and Burguiere followed. The Glenn Beck Program became the third highest rated radio program in the country. When Beck began his run as host of Glenn Beck on HLN (and later Fox News) in 2006, Burguiere took on various writing responsibilities for the TV show, in addition to his work on radio.. . When Beck’s Insider Extreme service launched in 2010, a live stream of The Glenn Beck Program became available to subscribers. A forth hour of the show, aptly named The 4th Hour, was added soon after and was hosted by Burguiere and Pat Gray. The 4th Hour sought to lighten the mood of Beck’s show by taking on the news of the day with a lighter, funnier twist.. . It didn’t take long for the show to catch on and, in the fall of 2012, The 4th Hour was extended to two hours and re-named Pat & Stu. Though his initial reaction to the change was, “That’s a lot of hours,” Burguiere is proud that the show has evolved from a radio show on TV to an actual TV show.. .
