The monthly Studio Two Music Open Mic Night is held at the famous Bean Runner Cafe, in downtown Peekskill.. . DATES: 2nd Monday of each month. . . TIME: Sign-ups start at 6:00pm that night and music starts at 6:30, going until 9:30. Each performer or group will get 2 songs or 10 minutes. . . Bring your instruments and voices. We provide a sound system. If you want to use a backing track off a CD/MP3/etc please let us know in advance.. . The BRC has both a nice upright piano, and now, a 3-piece drum kit (no cymbals, bring your own if you wish). . . NEW!! As a courtesy to the other performers and guests, if you are bringing ANY kind of gear (ie: amps, effects, cymbals or CDs/iPods, etc.) that requires any kind of setup, you MUST arrive before 6:15 to get it all in place prior to 6:30.
