Tibetan refugee entrepreneurs trained Nepalese ironsmith "Kami", goldsmith"sunar" and other Nepalese artisans to make Tibetan style jewelry and beads such as repousse animal pendants, inlaid jewelry and they also trained to make Buddhist ritual items. . . After the earthquake (April, 2015) in Nepal, demand of jewelry has gone down because buyers are not visiting Nepal as much as before. Local exporters don't pay them much for their products so most of them already have high debts. Entire 2016, has been bad year for them. . . Many of these skilled artisans already quit the craftsmanship and left the country in search of employment towards India and Saudi Arabia. But some of these artisans who are seeking help, they don't want to give up the skill which was passed down by their forefathers from many generation. They need initial fund as soon as possible to start their production again. With your help they can generate income for their family and keep their traditional art alive.
