Detailed description is The Official Page of the Delta Chapter of Omega Delta Phi The Delta Chapter of Omega Delta Phi welcomes you to its official Facebook page where you can keep track of any and all events, service efforts, and happenings. . . The Delta Chapter was chartered at Texas A&M University on November 23, 1991 by seventeen young men who saw a need for the fraternity's values at the College Station campus. Led by Alpha chapter transfer and charter line member Albert Navarro, the Men of Vision sought to bring ODPhi to A&M as they saw an immense need for a social outlet and support system for Latino and other men of color. The men of vision also saw a growing need for community service efforts and outreach in the Bryan/College Station area. . . The Delta Chapter continues to impact the lives of the many men who have pledged and made an oath of brotherhood through ODPhi. ODPhi continues to attract campus leaders, social justice advocates, academically recognized students, and men with an overall vision of their goals and what they want to achieve in life. The standards have been set by those who came before and this is why ODPhi only accepts the best of the best; men who are committed to living in Unity, Honesty, Integrity, and Leadership, men who are ready to work for their community and be their brother's keeper at all times. . . Although founded primarily by men of Hispanic descent in a time of political and social unrest at Texas A&M, ODPhi prides itself on its diversity of mind and the diversity of its membership. Men of all socio-economic backgrounds, political ideologies, sexual orientations, races, and other self identifying factors have crossed over into the ranks of Delta Chapter and become part of the legacy. The fraternity's national motto “One culture, any race” is not just a slogan; its something we take to heart and is the reason why as brothers we embrace each other unconditionally. . . ODPhi has become an important driving force in the lives of all the men who have joined the ranks of our brotherhood. Come out and learn more about our fraternity, our mission, and why we are the premiere culturally based fraternity on the TEXAS A&M CAMPUS.
