Taste of Europe is not just a name, it was the way of life for Igor Shelestovsky, his wife and family of four, until fall of 1999. Having been born into the Ukrainian culture, he lived and supported his family by traveling though Europe on business trips. The unique blend of recipes made with only organic homegrown ingredients, made a lasting impression on him and his family.. . The lasting impression came with the Shelestovsky's to America, and having experienced the American food culture, only inspired them to want to bring something new and different to table, something that the people here would not be able to experience unless they go to Europe. This was a very easy decision for them to make. Since many American people would not be able make a trip to Europe and live through the experience there, Europe had to come to them.. . Shortly after, the Shelestovsky's made the decision to open a fine, Ukrainian Cuisine, and named it Taste of Europe.
