Detailed description is A handmade, environmentally conscious, educational toy company inspired by Montessori and Waldorf philosophies, creativity led and technology free playtime I rescue boring and abandoned old furniture, lovely but outdated antiques, and turn them into new adorable and funky children's furniture. I love vintage design, re-purposed décor, DIY, buying second-hand and finding creative and artistic ways to rediscover the past. . . I am always looking for unique pieces of furniture, or how I can use a common piece of furniture in an unexpected way. . . Some things I'm always stocking up on. -Storage. -Bedroom Furniture. -Decor . Looking for something? Let me know and I can try to find it for you!. . I also use old pieces of furniture and repurpose them into imagination/play stations.. -play kitchens. -play workshops . -dollhouses . -lemonade stands . . If there is something you want made, let me know and I will try my best to come up with something for you. . . Although I focus mainly on children's furniture and decor, I also create pieces for the grown folks as well. . . CUSTOM WORK. I can do custom work on your own furniture or on your choice of unpainted furniture I have in stock. . . I mainly use chalk paint on all of my pieces because I wanted something to use that is safe for my own family while I work indoors, as well as yours. These paints are mineral paints which have no Volatile Organic Compounds. They are odourless and non-toxic, contains NO acrylic co-polymers, solvents, formaldehyde, ammonia, ethylene glycol or toxic heavy metals. . . The paint is made of clay, porcelain clay and chalk blended into a water based solution. And what is even better is that the paint is packaged in recycled plastic containers. .
