Our Main Lodge and cabins can accommodate your vacation, get-away, reunion, business or church retreat, Weiss Lake fishing trip, golf outing, wedding, party or other special event. Terrapin Creek Lodge offers a truly distinctive experience with its 5-acre creekside setting adjoining over 2,000 uninhabited acres of the Appalachian foothills. Our Main Lodge is a fully furnished, waterfront vacation home with wood burning fireplace, dining room seating for 24, large outdoor fireplaces and decks overlooking the creek, complimentary satellite TV and wireless internet. Our five cabins can be rented with the Main Lodge or separately. The Lodge is less than a two-hour drive from Atlanta, Birmingham, Chattanooga, Huntsville and Rome.. . Terrapin Creek, over 50 feet wide in front of the Lodge, is a Class I-II recreational stream that provides a fun, family friendly canoeing and kayaking experience. Canoes and kayaks can easily be rented from Terrapin Outdoor Center. For anglers, Terrapin Creek fishing is known for its spotted, largemouth and redeye bass and Weiss Lake – ‘Crappie Capital of the World’ - with its world class sport fishing is just up the road. For golf, cycling and hiking and rock climbing enthusiasts, the Lodge is a short drive from the public Robert Trent Jones’ Silver Lakes Golf Course, the Pinhoti National Recreation Trail, the Little River Canyon and the new rails-to-trails Chief Ladiga Bike Trail. For Chief Ladiga/Silver Comet Bike Trail users, shuttle service is available to the Lodge.
