Detailed description is Terror in the Trees is located about 20 km. south of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on highway 60 near Pike Lake Provincial Park. This is a Halloween attraction only. Terror in the Trees Saskatchewan . is Looking for Volunteer Actors for the 2016 Events. Who Are We?. Terror in the Trees Sask. is a private yard haunt that has slowly grown over many years. My mother, Netta Foster, has been developing her haunt since the early 90's and has presented it to her neighbours every year. She began her yard haunts in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan but has relocated to just north of Pike Lake, Saskatchewan and has vastly expanded. We now encompass an acre of land in which there is an open portion for our grave yard and a treed section with a path that winds throughout.. Terror in the Trees Sask. had its first event on October 31st, 2014 with a few hundred people coming out to experience our event; we thought this was a fantastic turnout. The screams coming from the trees and the roar of the chainsaw was music to our ears. Everyone who participated had a lot of fun but we were all exhausted and cold by the end of the night. It was a learning experience; wear more cloths than you think you need, make sure your mouth and nose holes are big enough in your mask so you can breath, and bring your beverage of choice and hand warmers with you to your scare zone cause its going to be a long and very fun night.. However, in the following years we have had thousands of people turn out for a scare. We have been thrilled by the turnout. Up to this point we have had mostly just family and a few random people come out and act at Terror in the Trees Sask. but we want to continue to expand; our family may be growing but not at the pace we need it to. This is where you come in!!!. . Who We Need?. Terror in the Trees Sask. is looking for individuals who LOVE HALLOWEEN and SCARING people!!!! We are all very dedicated to Halloween and hope to find volunteers who love it just as much as we do! We are planning to be open October 28th threw 31st for a total of four nights. Whatever you can commit to over those four nights would be awesome. We usually run from 7:00 pm until 11:00 pm and ask that the volunteers be here and ready to go half an hour before we open just so we know who is here and that everyone is ready. We will also have an on-site meeting on Thursday October 27th so that our volunteers will be familiar with the site and so that we can meet everyone and show them and pick out their scare zones. Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided to our volunteers. . Some specific roles we are seeking to fill are:. Witches: small story to tell and crowd control (breaking people up into groups of four or five before they enter the path in the trees and to time groups so that they can get the full scare). Zombies (no memorization; just make horrible zombie screams, growls, and gurgles). Clowns (no memorization; horrifying laughter and ability to chase patrons). Vampires (no memorization; hissing and vampire accent if you want to). Mummies (no memorization; moaning and chasing). Doctors/Nurses (no memorization; come up with your own phrases that will terrify the patrons). Asylum Patients (no memorization; random mumbling, screaming, and other insane things). Pretty much anything scary (let us know what you would like to do and we can most likely fit you in). If you would like to see what we did in previous years or to contact us with more inquiries or commitments go to our Facebook page by entering Terror in the Trees Sask into the search bar and send us a message. . Hope to hear from you soon,. Bailey Waldner and Netta Foster
