Detailed description is The Black Diamond Diner is the smallest RR diner in the world. The Black Diamond Diner is the smallest RR diner in the world. We have seating for two, wedding receptions for four with two standees. We are so small you have to go outside to change your mind! The diner is comprised of the cab of a 1941 diesel locomotive. Black Diamond refers to the "crack" passenger train of the Lehigh Valley Railway which ran from Buffalo to New York City up until 1960 on the track bed one mile behind our location. The locomotive is painted in Lehigh Valley Railway colors. For all you railroad buffs out there, the cab is from an AlcoRS-1 locamotive delivered in March of 1941. The diner specializes in hotdogs-our signature hotdog is the "Cayuga Sizzler" which includes chili, cheese, and coleslaw with a pinch of paprika-all for $2.50 including tax. You won't find a more delicious deal anywhere in wine country!
