That kind of history usually carries with it a respect for tradition and not many things are more traditional in this city than the beloved Crow's Nest Fish Sandwich. . . If a restaurant can master all of the combined elements - bread, batter, fish, cooking time, tartar sauce, etc. - then patrons won’t be able to resist getting their hands on the fried, flaky pub staple. . . Once voted (and still self-proclaimed as) Cincinnati’s Best Fish Sandwich, Crow’s Nest has the formula down pat - six ounces of Icelandic cod, beer battered and deep fried to lock in moisture and create a golden crunchy outer shell, sandwiched between two slices of marble rye bread and served with a side of creamy tartar sauce.
