Detailed description is Established in 2003, The Empty Space is a theatre located in Bakersfield, California. The Empty Space's mission is to provide professional quality live theatre to the community of Bakersfield and to create an opportunity for local actors, directors and technicians to work in a creative environment that allows them to express themselves and their artistic ideas while encouraging them to continue to study and improve their craft.. . Most of our main stage shows are admission by donation. Audience members are asked to pay what they can, with a suggested donation of $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors. We want to encourage every member of the community to experience and enjoy live theater, regardless of his or her financial situation. . . By becoming a fan of The Empty Space you will only be notified of shows and events. . .
