Detailed description is The Lighthouse is a historic building that is the home for the combined youth of First United Methodist Church and St. Paul Methodist Church of Frankfort. In 1856, the land previously used as a livery was purchased from Mansion House. A parsonage was built in 1890. The building was used for state offices at some point, and renovated for church offices in 1972. The building finally became the youth building in 1988, and is still used for this purpose to this day.
