Detailed description is Long Island's premier classical art school. LIAFA, Long Island's oldest classical art school, is dedicated to the advancement of classical methods. Founded by Robert Armetta in 1999 and currently directed by Steve and Rebecca Forster, the Academy closely adheres to the strict program of study that Armetta and the Forsters experienced during extensive training in academies in Europe and throughout the United States.
