With Nine Holes and easy access to the historic Port of Goderich. The Maitland Country Club is a stunning year-round recreation facility, offering golf, tennis and curling to our members, visitors and the public. Our beautiful nine hole course sits on the banks of the Maitland River near the mouth of Lake Huron. As such, views of the lake can be quite stunning, especially around sunset when the sky lights up with an amazing display of colour. . . The course was established back in 1921 and possesses all the character and atmosphere one would expect from a course of its mature years. It features a well treed, somewhat hilly layout that provides both a wonderfully scenic backdrop for golf and enough tactical hazards for challenging play. . . We offer a fully stocked pro shop, rental clubs, power and pull carts as well as two fully-lit tennis courts, clean courts and a ball machine for your use. . . Our curling club is active and busy, with Monday/Tuesday and Wednesday/Thursday leagues, a thriving Junior curling program, drop-in opportunities, fun nights, bonspiels and special events throughout the season. . .
