The Silver Star Ranch Unlimited is a raidly expanding business located in North Lawrence NY. Owned and operated by Michael Woods and family, it started as a Farrier business. As raid changes and growth of the Ranch continues we have expanded to Horsemanship training, training horses to drive or ride, a pasture board facility, as well as a horse rehabilitation center. The farrier services also continue.. Late last summer we began taking in unwanted horses. Many of these horses are underweight or do not have any hands on contact. We started turning people away within a month due to an overwhelming request. This season the rehabilitation center has started out at a phenomenal rate again. At the moment we are up to 21 horses, 3 are boarders and 4 permanently reside here. We are still getting calls and request every day to take in more. What we do is rehabilitate these horses, turn them into horses people want and them put them into good homes..
