Each year, we host many events such as Texas Hold'em, Casino night, Mother's Day Pancake Breakfast, a Pig Roast, a "Thank-You" BBQ, Remembrance Day Services, a Christmas Craft Faire, Bingos, Meat Draws, and much more.. . Each year we apply for and administer a Community Gaming Grant in the $20,000 range as well as CBT Grants. Many organizations and individuals such as the New Denver Pavillion; Slocan First Responders & the Technical Rope Rescue Society; the Community Food Bank; school bursaries and programs; veteran homes; ex-service league and transition programs; BC Senior's Games; senior's programs; KLD Hospital Foundation; cancer patients; the Slocan Historical Society; and Slocan Halloween Hoot benefit from our fundraising and grants.. .
