Detailed description is The News- Reported started out in 1889 as the Idaho Citizens, in a community called Salubria. In 1929 it became The Upper Country New Reporter Newspaper. Started in 1889, this newspaper was bought by Stuart Dopf from Margaret Pearson in February 1937. It has been published since, never missing a issue (over 63 years owned). In 2000 Bethel Dopf was named Publisher. In 2001 Stu Dopf passed away and the paper passed the torch to his son, Norman Dopf. Roughly over 3,276 issues have published without miss. In March 2016 Lyle Sall of The Adams County Record and The New Plymouth Record Newspapers bought The Upper County News-Reporter to continue the communities well loved newspaper. The first issue to publish under Publisher Lyle Sall will be April 6th, 2016.
