Detailed description is A community cafe where you can come in for good coffee, grab a delicious sandwich and stay for a while, or just stop in to say Hi. Krissie and Drew have been hard at work creating a cafe that focuses on community and local sustainability. They live in Bellows Falls with their young daughter (You'll find her sitting in the window waving to the people walking by). Krissie grew up in Long Island and lived in Florida for a few years before she settled and fell in love with Vermont. She has worked at her aunt's cafe the Moondog, in Chester Vermont since her arrival where she has furthered her knowledge on nutritious food and her love of creating dishes with it.. Drew grew up in Chester, Vermont, as a kid he was often on his father's job site learning about carpentry and other forms of construction. He worked for the local deli as a butcher and crafted his pizza skill at his cousins pizzeria. Recently he has broadened his love for carpentry, framing houses and making furniture. Most of the furniture that you will see at the cafe has been built by Drew using reclaimed wood. Drew and Krissie also took a year to work and live on a farm in South Royalton Vermont, where they worked with pigs, cows, sheep, chicken, turkey and grew every vegetable imaginable using sustainable and organic practices..
