Detailed description is We are the Voice of Purdue University North Central, so LISTEN UP! The Voice is the official student newspaper of Purdue University North Central. The Voice is published monthly and The Voice Online is published weekly during regular school terms. Both editions are written and edited in their entirety by PNC students. . . The mission of The Voice is to inform, educate, and entertain through the reporting of events, issues, and policies that affect the campus community. This is a time of great change at PNC: the campus is growing and developing in many ways. As such, the staff of The Voice strives to present the various constituencies of Purdue University North Central with an accurate account of the events both on and off campus that will shape our university.. . This publication views itself as neither liberal nor conservative, but rather attempts to present as many viewpoints as possible. The staff of The Voice will never be able to adequately accommodate all views of an issue, nor will The Voice be able to cover all events on campus. In an attempt to remedy this problem The Voice always welcomes volunteer freelance articles from students and faculty members. . . All volunteer articles and letters to the editor are to be submitted electronically via email (thevoice@pnc.edu). Articles submitted to either edition and letters submitted to The Voice printed edition must include the author's name and contact information. Letters are submitted to The Voice Online via the online comment form. The author will be contacted when his or her article or letter is published. Articles and letters should not exceed 350 words and are subject to editing for readability. Articles will only be rejected when they contain extreme material.
