Detailed description is THE WING-ITZ are a local Oldies Rock-N-Roll Band...consisting of a core of talented musicians. The Wing-Itz are an Oldie's Cover Band playing fun, dance-able, toe-tap-able sing-a-long-able, memorable, favorite tunes that we all stacked our 45's on our record players! (Elvis, Beatles, Motown, British Invasion, Wood-Stock, One-Hit-Wonders, & Various Pop-Hits from the era's of the 50's, 60's, & 70's) Consisting of 5 talented members who have all played in various bands and venues throughout their musical careers. We started out just a bunch of friends jammin' at our friends 4th of July party and ended up forming this band. We call ourselves the WING-ITZ because we have a core of permanent members who just love to play music...We have had some very talented friends and fellow musicians join us at one time or another as well (unrehearsed) and the performance ends up being a hit...Who woulda thunk this was gonna turn into what it has???!!! We know not every song needs to be an epic jam...and lets face it...we honestly don't think any of us in this band are gonna be winning any Grammy's any time soon!!! We certainly have day jobs and families and get paid when we perform but not enuff to retire and tour on!!!...so let's just have some fun with good ol' rock-n-roll.... Keep an eye out for us!!
