As a new non-profit, There Is Hope is currently 100% volunteer operated and has limited ways of being able to assist individual victims due to a lack of on-going funding. During this first year, focus is being placed on fundraising in order to create and implement planned programs and services. . . The main service offered right now is a volunteer escort for shopping, medical appointments, meetings with attorneys, required court appearances, etc. Having two certified instructors of the NRA's Refuse To Be A Victim program, There Is Hope is also able to provide free seminars to help build / restore self-confidence, create situational awareness, and educate about various principles of self-defense.. .
