Detailed description is Third Space is a studio with creation stations for sculpture, painting, drawing, pottery, jewelry making, tinkering, and design. Our student run workspace is open to everyone in the Harvard Community. One fine day in the fall of 2012 two kids living in Cabot House were lying on the grass with their eyes to the sky, wondering what they could do to make the Quad just a little more exciting, enticing, electrifying. Like most days at Harvard go, they had both just barely made it through six hours of class, and neither of them wanted to venture back into the white walls of their home away from home. . And so the seed was planted, to create a space that existed outside the realm of academic life, and far away (in spirit) from the halls of any Harvard house. Third Space is a different space, a new space, a wild, weird and wonderful space. It is a space dedicated to YOU, and your creations, whatever they may be.
