He began as a nurse in the ER at the Martha's Vineyard Hospital in 1996 and stayed on staff part time while transitioning back to Boston where Mike worked in Emergency/Trauma for nearly 20 years before returning to make the island his permanent home. Mike has a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing from University of Massachusetts Boston and has done Master's degree work University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.. . He started True North Caretaking & Property Management on returning to the island in 2014. He is married and has two children, residing in Edgartown with his family.
