Unity In Recovery was founded by Glenn Myers. He is an addict who ended up on drug court. He graduated and decided he wanted to help others in need that are like him. He runs the men house. His partner in the Unity House is Marlena Sue Mcdonald she runs the women house. She is a graduate from Prop 36. Together they help with Recovery Happens every September. The men and women sober living house's are the only houses in Glenn county that provide this type of help.They house people who have fallen into drug addiction or mental illness or people who are on probation or anyone who needs help getting there life together!. Myself for example...graduated prop 36 twice...left the house twice but, i came back cause i knew this is where my success is going to start...I pick up 18 months clean time...this has been my home for the same amount of time....thanks to my will to want to live and the love and support of the family in Unity In Recovery...i have a life to live...kids, family, and friends who are part of my life... So it's a very productive org. that help the fallen ones stand back up and hold their head up high...
