Detailed description is We offer a range of up-to-date course titles to the rapid progress of computing technology and the needs of business, industry and public organisations as well as education and social life. Staff within the Department work closely with local industry and government institutions to ensure we are able to provide students courses that are relevant and current and therefore give a good platform for employment. Students have many opportunities to work on ‘live’ projects for external clients and so gain real-world experience, whilst they study for a Degree. In addition, students can undertake an optional one-year paid placement through our 4-year sandwich degree, which will greatly enhance their employment prospects. .
