The U.S. Army Special Operations Aviation Command (USASOAC) was activated as a provisional unit 25 March 2011 and is the newest Component Subordinate Command of the the U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC). As our motto, Volamus Optimus, “To fly the best”, boldly states, we are committed to generating and enabling the world’s finest special operations aviation force to support our Nation’s most elite warriors. As the staff proponent for all things aviation within USASOC, USASOAC will be the advocate and honest broker for the command on aviation issues, organizations and investment.
