Detailed description is The Utah Valley University Strengthening Families Program is an twelve week program that teaches family life education to families within the community.
The Strengthening Families Program is a nationally and internationally recognized parenting and family strengthening program.
It offers training on a personal level with individual classes for parents, teens, and children.
These classes are followed by family classes that allow participants to learn additional information and, as a family, practice the skills learned in the individual classes.
This program has proven to be effective in reducing risk factors for behavioral, emotional, academic and social problems in youth while improving parenting skills and family relationships.

The Utah Valley University Strengthening Families Program is an twelve week program sponsored by Utah Valley University in association with the Alpine School District, Brigham Young University, and other community partners.
It is conducted three nights a week at five sites for families from all walks of life.
These sites represent the five Alpine School District Clusters of Mountain View High, Lehi High, Orem High, Pleasant Grove High, and Timpanogas High.
Families are invited to participate in the program based on recommendations from teachers, school counselors, and school administrators or by indicating their interest in the program from advertisements at Back to School Night, Parent/Teacher conferences, or other events.
