We also house the original Wakely's Speakeasy The Van Auken Inne is a historical Inn near Old Forge. Built in 1891, the establishment sits right across from the Adirondack Scenic Railroad, making its beauty even more appealing. It was moved 75 feet away from the tracks in 1906 to a more comfortable spot for customers.. . Every Thursday and Saturday from 7:30 - 9:30 DrewsKeys Piano Bar is rocking! Playing some of your all time favorites and newer music too.(Singing along is encouraged with provided lyrics.) . Karaoke takes place on the first weekend of each month and the 5'th weekend of each month. Van Aukens Inne also features a new local musician, Alisha Kay Carstens on the 2'nd and 4'th weekend of each month. Music at Van Aukens is simply AWESOME!. . Van Aukens Inne now rents snowmobiles to their guests and has McCauley Mountain ski passes on hand for your convenience.
