Detailed description is Held every First Friday, Jan thru Dec from 6-9pm. Expect live music, dining, art, shopping, community and fun. Free carriage rides, weather permitting. . The event begins at 6 p.m. and is open to the public. . . Since 2008, Vevay Main Street has hosted a monthly First Friday event. First Friday features local art, free carriage rides, the company of others, businesses open until 9 p.m. (participating store hours may vary) and a surprise or two. . . Many of Vevay’s downtown merchants have extended hours, making it a convenient way to browse your favorite shops, and discover some you may have missed. Take advantage of store specials (often one night only) and be sure to grab a bite to eat at one of the restaurants. . .
