As the new Chief of Police for the Village of Frankfort, I would like to begin by providing some information on my background. I have over thirteen years of experience in the law enforcement field, having started with the Village of Mohawk in 1997. I have also worked for the Herkimer County Sheriff’s Department the Village of Dolgeville and the City of Little Falls. Throughout my career I have seen many different aspects of law enforcement, having work in corrections, civil, court security, patrol, and investigations. I have been involved in complex investigations ranging from missing persons, sex offenses, child abuse, and death investigations. One thing that has remained consistent throughout my career is contact with the public. I have found that regardless of the situation one may become involved in, people will generally appreciate a calm and respectful law enforcement officer. As I begin this new portion of my career I intend on maintaining a good relationship with the public. I believe quality police work is dependant on the agencies relationship with the public and the public’s trust and confidence in its police force. I will work diligently to gain and maintain trust and confidence from the residents of the Village of Frankfort as we work together to keep the neighborhoods of the village safe and the quality of life at an optimal level.
