Detailed description is We use cryogenic electron microscopy to investigate the molecular structures of viruses and their interactions with host cells. The MRC - University of Glasgow Centre for Virus Research (CVR) includes two virus structure research groups led by Drs David Bhella and Frazer Rixon. We use cryogenic electron microscopy combined with computational image processing to solve the structure of viruses and study their interactions with the cells they infect.
