The Washington-Hillsdale Internship Program (WHIP) gives undergrads the chance to participate in semester-long internships in the nation's capital. Past "WHIPsters" have interned for the White House, Congressional offices and committees, think-tanks, media outlets, national security agencies, lobbying firms, and private sector companies. . . In addition to their internships, WHIPsters take classes at Hillsdale's Kirby Center, attend the Center's frequent lectures, meet with notable scholars, journalists, and policymakers. Past classes have enjoyed special meetings with Supreme Court justices, visited the Civil War battlefields at Antietam and Gettysburg, and toured the Pentagon, FBI Headquarters and George Washington's estate at Mount Vernon.. .
