Detailed description is Pastor- Bro. Dustyn Rose. Sunday Services. Morning/Prayer 9:30 AM. Worship 10:00 AM. Evening/Prayer 6 PM. Worship 6:30 PM. Thursday -Prayer 6;30 PM Worship 7 Way back in the beginning, the church began in one of Howard and Reddie Harper’s chicken houses. Over time, Aunt Corene and Uncle Mid Tyler donated a piece of land and trees for lumber and the community built the little church. During these years, rural Louisiana had what was called Army maneuvers and our area was full of military playing war games.. When the original church building was completed, one of the soldiers asked Aunt Corene if she wanted to put a name on the church. She said no but she would really like to put a sign over the door just saying Welcome! So the young man, painted the word Welcome on a board in gothic lettering and nailed it up. That sign still remains with the church, it's the first thing you see when you enter the doors. From then on, the church was called Welcome and Welcome Church. When the current re-constructions began the church became Welcome Pentecostal Church.
