Christie Wersen has 12 years of experience teaching voice, and she is a member of both NAFME (National Association for Music Education) and NATS (National Association for Teachers of Singing). She receives all the information on vocal camps and competitions that students may sign up for nationwide. . . Christie’s background and training includes: . • 10 years of classical and Broadway voice study in NY state with Marylou Muratori, of the Tri-Cities Opera - training ground for the Metropolitan Opera in NYC; . • Andy Boettner in Newport Beach, CA - a student of Seth Riggs, voice teacher to the stars; . • George Peckham in Seattle, WA, who also worked with Ann & Nancy Wilson of Heart.. . Christie has performed professionally, for over 20 years, with bands that toured from California to Alaska. Her degree is in theatre from Northwestern University, and she has performed in and directed many productions over the years. In Salisbury, Maryland, Christie was the director of the James M.
