Detailed description is WeSNiP makes spay and neuter services for dogs and cats accessible and affordable in Whatcom County for our underserved community. Whatcom Education, Spay & Neuter Impact Program (WeSNiP) is the only program of its kind in this area. There are several animal rescue organizations in Whatcom County, but none that provide both financial assistance and transport for pet owners in need. WeSNiP fills an extremely important need by providing both financial assistance and transport for surgery for animals from all over the county. WeSNiP also makes community education presentations about our Trap-Neuter-Return program and the importance of spaying/neutering your pet. Ultimately our vision is to greatly reduce the intake of dogs and cats in our local shelters and to eliminate euthanasia of healthy pets in our area.
