My dream was, and is, to create a beautiful, safe environment for two-legged and four-legged critters. . . Horses have long been special friends of mine, and I think they deserve a clean, tranquil place to rest at the end of a busy day. From Mojave, take the ramp to 58 North towards Bakersfield/Tehachapi. It is about 20 miles to Tehachapi from Mojave.. . Take the 3rd Tehachapi off ramp (there are only 3). The 3rd is posted as Tehachapi, Hwy 202. This off ramp will take you over the freeway and into Tehachapi on Tucker Road.. . *If you are coming from Bakersfield, the freeway off ramp will be the first Tehachapi exit . . You will turn right at the second stop light on to Valley Blvd (Hwy 202). . . Stay on Valley until you get to Cummings Valley Road (6-9 miles). There is a Cummings Valley Road turnoff to the left on top of a hill – IGNORE. A few miles further will lead you to a four-way stop sign intersection with flashing red light at Cummings Valley Road. Turn right. The right hand turn lane is posted as the turn for Stallion Springs and Bear Valley Springs. Follow the signs to Stallion Springs. The signs will guide you across the valley.. . The road changes names several times as it makes 90 degree turns zig-zagging across the valley – the first is to the left (Bailey), then right (Giraudo), then left on Pelliser. When you reach a stop sign at a “T” intersection, turn left on Banducci Road (this is where you stop following the Stallion Springs signs). You will cross a cattle guard, go up a rise, and be able to see my place on the left. The ‘gorgeous’ place with white pipe fencing on the road and white vinyl fencing in the interior, big gray barn etc… Turn into the Green Bar gate (I may have it open).
