Beat Salad: HEADLINERS START AT 6:30PM : . . SHUTTLE LOCATION: Naked Cafe 571 Lawrence Ave, Kelowna, (778) 484-5640. The shuttle will run continuously between the Naked Cafe and Woodhaven Eco Culture Centre, 5-10pm. It is a big yellow school bus so, if you're planning on drinking, USE IT!!!. . Beat Salad is a confluence of performance poetry, prose, music, excellent company, and the Beats. The event will feature an astonishing marquee of talented performers, including: Joan Crate, W. Mark Giles, Matt Rader, Laisha Rosnau, Michael V. Smith, and more! Performers will perform original works and covers of their favorite Beat writing. Musical guests Rhoneil will open the event at 6pm.
