Ya Bird? Productions is a new theatre company that was started by Greg Hovanesian, an ESL teacher with a love of storytelling, in 2015.
Ya Bird? Productions aims at bringing unique stories to the stage that engage the audience with thought-provoking ideas.

On October 30th Ya Bird? Productions will produce their first full-length play, THIRSTY, at the Rockwell (formerly the Davis Square Theatre) in Somerville.
Written by Greg and directed by Haris Lefteri, who double-majored in Theatre & Political Science at Boston College, THIRSTY tells the story of several 20-somethings trying to make sense of the online dating world and deal with the fact that several shadowy figures, who may or may not be vampires, have infiltrated this world.

This isn’t Haris’ and Greg’s first production.
In June of 2016, Haris directed WATER, a short play written by Greg, for the Playwrights’ Platform’s 42nd Annual Festival of New Plays at the Boston Playwrights’ Theatre.
WATER won Best Play, Haris won Best Director, and Greg won Best Actor.
