Detailed description is Our lab studies the neural mechanisms underlying the dynamic changes that occur in emotional behavior and risk for psychiatric illness during childhood and adolescence. Welcome to the Clinical Affective Neuroscience & Development Lab (CANDLab) directed by Dr. Dylan Gee. We are based in Yale’s Department of Psychology and conduct research at Yale’s Magnetic Resonance Research Center. Our lab studies the neural mechanisms underlying the dynamic changes that occur in emotional behavior and risk for psychiatric illness during childhood and adolescence. We use behavioral, psychophysiological, and neuroimaging methods to understand the developing brain with the goal to more effectively treat anxiety and stress-related disorders that emerge during development.
