Detailed description is Your astronomy connection for the greater Sacramento and Northern California areas! Night sky education, outreach and conservation promotion. The YSNSN is a community resource dedicated to promoting astronomy education as well as other science, nature, conservation, family and community topics. Astronomy outreach through hosting private, group, and community stargazing nights (star parties), as well as Sidewalk Astronomy at different locations throughout the Yuba-Sutter area. I am also available and eager to do presentations at local schools! With a special focus on promoting light pollution awareness to protect and preserve the beautiful night sky we are fortunate enough to still see in our area, the goal of the YSNSN is to give you a new sense of perspective and your place in the universe through a gained appreciation for the heavens above us.
