BRANDI: SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY HEALTH OFFICIALS HELD A MASS VACCINATION CLINIC AT THE AGRICULTURAL BUILDING IN STOCKTON TODAY. A LONG LINE OF CARS STRETCHED ALONG EAST EARHART AVENUE FILLED WITH PEOPLE EAGER TO GET THEIR SHOTS. ONE HUNDRED COUNTY STAFF MEMBERS HELPED GIVE VACCINES MOSTLY TO IN-HOME HEALTH CARE WORKERS. THE COUNTY SAYS THEIR GOAL WAS TO HAVE 1000 PEOPLE VACCINATED BY 4:00 P.M. THEY ENDED UP VACCINATING 1600 PEOPLE. STILL THEY SAY THEY HAVE A LONG WAY TO GO. >> WITH JUST GETTING THROUGH A COUPLE THOUSAND THIS WEEKEND IN HOME SUPPORT SEVICES STAFF, ALONE THEY HAVE 6,000 PEOPLE. SO, WE ADD THAT TO THE ADDITIONAL 7 ACUTE CARE HOSPITALS THAT WE HAVE IN THE COUNTY WITH HEALTH-CARE WORKERS AND ALL OF THEIR ENTIRE SUPPORT STAFF, ALL OF OUR CLINICS, ALL THAT FALL INTO THAT TIER 1A.
