On Wednesday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM hosted a morning tea and presented the Special Olympics Australia Team Uniform to the Queensland Members, and the Governor addressed guests.
Following at Government House, Her Excellency greeted members of the Pelican Waters Garden Club visiting for a guided tour of the House and gardens.

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency received Middle School Housemaster, Brisbane Boys’ College, Mr Matthew Atkinson, Associate Chaplain, Brisbane Boys College, Mr Thomas McPherson, Public Relations Secretary, The Salvation Army Australia, Mr Simon Gregory, Minister of Religion, The Salvation Army Australia, Major Dale Murray and Captain Darlene Murray and Brisbane Boys’ College students in support of Red Shield Appeal.
In the evening, at Howard Smith Wharves, Brisbane, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the Rotary Club Centenary Dinner, and the Governor addressed guests.
